Become an eyewitness to the violence of the West.
In the West, the fragmented noble houses dance with empty politeness and veiled threats. All of them waiting for a reason to set upon one another like hounds. All bound together by a withering peace treaty from days of old and the power of the Church. And that is all it would take…
A forgotten letter. A broken promise. And a bunch of grapes.
Within three days' time, a letter would be found, a promise forgotten and the grapes... Rotting in the guts of who ate them.
On the dawn of August 1st, 688 (After the Migration), Ser Payten Hudd arrived for his daily stroll around a vineyard just under Redhorn. Come the morrow, he would be found there, dead and bloody, holding on desperately to a bunch of grapes. And his death would be the spark that would set Redhorn, its Lady Serenna, and the rest of the Western Kingdom on fire.
Like all peace times on the continent, it would only take a spark to truly burn the words of those treaties. A spark like love, devotion, loyalty, and ambition. Promises will be made. Alliances broken. And in this land of betrayal, a new order will be born.
