What is the writing in our packages?
“What else do you say about me?” Naeva asked, raising a brow in a subtle way that hoped he would whisper another one sweet lie in her ear.
“I say I will dream of you every night from now on. And that your smile alone has more value than all the gold in that hall. Should I keep going?" Dax replied, his tongue speaking faster than his mind would have liked.
“How far would you go if I let you?” She knew that answer, but up until this moment Naeva couldn’t tell if he was serious. Or if this was all in pursuit of an invisible chase. What was he willing to gamble if he really went as far as she hoped he might?
"I would probably go in your shoe and you to Bloodstone. By foot." He joked. "If I survived we could marry and live happily ever after. If I didn't, I'd die happy and you'd have the best foot cushion in the world." Or the most squashed, depending on how merciful this goddess decided to be. Or merciless. He couldn't say which he liked better. "If you let me, I would just go to your father and ask for your hand here and now. I don't care what he'd want in return, you're worth triple that." And even that may be an understatement, only Dax probably hoped for Naeva to say that. Just for a cute little jab at him that she always threw when things got funny. For her, he would suffer it. And he would suffer her father. "Would you let me do that?"
“You’ll be the first person I ever said yes to.” A true confession, but she didn’t smile. There was no tease, because she meant it more than anything else. “I think you are the only person I want to say yes to ever again.”
Each of the packages we send out includes some sample writing. The above is one of my favorite examples. Each piece is a creative project just waiting to complete. Story lines that drift from our current projects to an endless TBW (To be written?) In what form the art takes shape I cannot tell just yet. Drawing, novel writing, wand, interactive story narrative, or painting.
