Naeva & Dax ; Sample Writing
Taken aback by the lady’s sudden appearance, Dax eventually looked her in the eye again and smiled. Catching her right hand in his own to kiss it like a true gentleman, he carried out the task and when his eyes met the woman's again, he decided to finally break some ice. "I... Feel a little embarrassed, my lady, for not having asked your name first."
“Are you? I thought that was intentional? Everyone here says a lot of things when they mean something else. You kiss my hand, do you mean can I have your name or do you mean you want to take a walk with me and keep staring at me?” Naeva didn’t break ice, she melted it. But it was more of her personality than any intention of being rude. Curtsying to him, she did not remove the mask as most had been doing within private conversation. “Naeva Peake. You may kiss my hand again if you like.”
"The longer the better." Dax shrugged with the lady's hand still on top of his own and his back slightly bowed so that he could kiss it. With a smile, he thought of all the things that may just be going through the Peake lady's head when she suggested he should kiss her hand again. That little nod in her demeanor and how she presented herself brought an appreciative chuckle out of him as he indeed bowed once again but this time a little deeper to kiss that hand. "I could kiss other things as well but they'd burn me alive."
Each of the packages we send out includes some sample writing. The above is one of my favorite examples. Each piece is a creative project just waiting to complete. Story lines that drift from our current projects to an endless TBW (To be written?) In what form the art takes shape I cannot tell just yet. Drawing, novel writing, wand, interactive story narrative, or painting.
